Ya we would pour it in the cut and hold some gauze over and t to keep it on n there till the clotting happened, it may be whats in those clotting agents in first aid kits. But it sure helped my brother a time or 2 Tc
This thread is like a car wreck. ((You don't want to look...but you do))
Don't forget bungee cords, they fix everything.
Cut a skin tag off last night, that as close as I've gotten to being part of this thread.

Really good info!
Could have used this yesterday when I suffered my worst shaving-related laceration to date. About an inch long on the left cheek. A moment of distraction thinking about a challenge at work.
Bled not so much profusely but tenaciously I would say. Had to keep direct pressure on it on the way to work (this is after using styptic pencil and 10+ minutes of direct pressure at home.)
I think I will get some butterfly bandages and some of the cut stop powder for future reference. Not to mention reminding myself to focus on the job at hand, which is after all one of the reasons I do straight-razor shaving in the first place, kind of mindfulness exercise.
I've been using a safety razor and shavette for about 2 months meow so I went all in and started shaving my whole face on Day 1 (last Saturday). On Day 2. I got a little cocky and paid the price.
