A clavicle that is and not broken scales, heaven forbid. A month after my bicycle crash I dared a greatly missed SR shave. A return to civilized living. Born again!

I know the feeling. Eight years ago I took a dive off of a Litespeed Vortex @ 20mph. Slept in a chair for 3 months (to avoid rolling over on the healing clavicle A.K.A. collarbone) and missed 5 weeks work. I shaved with a Merkur 37C slant until I could begin to use my left hand/arm for stretching again. Not a pleasant experience. I wish you quick healing.
Did you still remember how to use the razor? Har har.
Jimmy, as a cyclist you will appreciate that I was as concerned about the scratches on my Campy Ergo levers as anything else. By the way, I was on my Merlin titanium. I fared better than you from the sound of it.
Spender, I was spot on with the blade. Like riding a bike dontcha know!
Yeah I do. Years ago I was sideswiped by a Cadillac and went off my Schwinn Paramount. I slid about 10 feet on my elbow, ribs and thigh. Was wearing cutoff jeans and my pocket knife (closed) stuck in my thigh about a 1/2". The first thing I looked at was the bike. Fortunately it was alright. Lost skin on my ribs and elbow but no broken bones.
My crash cost me dearly. My Litespeed frame was the only thing salvageable. The up side was, it made for a great opportunity to make the switch from DA to Record;)
That event changed things for me a bit...I had my best racing year ever the next year.
