I have been wanting one for a long time now and was curious on how well they shave with having a smaller blade and a long tang. Anyone who owns one please let me know. Thank you!!!

Like a dream :) stropping can be the hard part with the original scales.
thats one that has been on my list for awhile now .. seems like everytime one comes up im cashed out ..lol
I had one. I didnt feel it shaved any better or worse than any others. It certainly does have a "cool" factor though!
I find mine super easy to control. The light weight is different, but I got used to it fast. You can put your hands anywhere on that thing, and mine is a sweet shaver to boot. Really smooth.
To be honest, I didn't warm to the DePews. I've got a Charlie Lewis custom that is almost the same shape but 50% bigger and that I really like.
My DePew is just like any other English steel razor & will give a smooth shave, with a funky cool tail.
The two that I have owned wouldn't maintain a crisp shaving edge (my personal preference) like some of the smaller Swedish blades, so if that is what you are used to or prefer...at least you know. I found that the edges seemed to hold up best with coticule edge or lightly slurried thuringian. THe razor itself is VERY manueverable & responsive. Have patience & you will pick one up.
