W&B Canadian Concave
A quick and dirty photo of a W&B I received today. Not a W&B fanatic but I just could not resist it due to the blade etching. I do like the blade style and the width tapers a bit so we will just call it a 6/8. The scales are horn with some flea bites although I think I can live with those. It looks to be pre 1891 with no England stamping. We will have to give the metal a bit more work, the scales a Neats Foot soaking and a honing.

Just curious if anyone has seen that particular blade etching before and has a better idea of the time frame these were made?

I've never seen one like it. It's really pretty. The etching is in great shape.

I find Canadian bacon disappointing. I cannot say the same about the Canadian Concave. Nice razor!

Nice score, Bob. She's definitely a keeper.
