WOW...I think I scored a good one!

My wife had an idea that she had stashed away one of her great uncles SR from his barber shop. We had a dig around through family heirlooms and pictures...and low and behold I found a keeper!! And its not just my wife I will keep. :D

New in the original box, wrapped in original paper, no water damage...and yes still has oil on the blade. 5/8"

It would almost be a shame to use it...but why let it sit around??

I think from the lil' test I did it only needs a stropping.

Nice find. Most NOS razors need to be honed but you never know.

I have a 6/8 Kropp and it is an outstanding shaver. I vote for using it. Hope you will find that smiling blade lets you maneuver through some of the tough spots on your neck with ease!

I finally got around to stropping it over some canvas then finished it off on a slick neo paddle...wow I have to say I am very impressed. It's over a half a century and gives a very nice shave.

I still have to have a few more rounds for us to get better acquainted...but I think it'll will be my primary blade.
