I just found two and have used one so far. It is not their fanciest razor but it is still a great razor for a good shave! Rescale it in your choice of materials and enjoy it to the fullest. Your razor seems to be almost new so a careful polishing and a careful honing should really make it shine and shave. A "newish" razor takes a lot less pressure and laps to set the bevel and form a nice edge than a well used razor. The edge is very thin at the bevel and will flex a lot if too much pressure is used to start and the razor will wire edge quickly and be a beast to set right afterward.
Nice catch! Have fun!

Thanks geezer...yeah all it needs is a wipedown with Polish and it'll be good as new...amazed the scales are gone considering the condition of the blade.
Its coated in a grease and more dirty than patina'd.
Also...its 6/8
Just bought one myself off the Bay, mine's comlete with scales and the box is less worn. I've spent the afternoon polishing and honing it ready for a shave with it tomorrow morning.
How weird is that just put it back in the case to take upstairs to balsa strop with CrOx and then strop with the Classic Edge Bridle.
SWMBO thinks we are all connecting telepathically!!!
It's a beauty and I know you will make some killer scales.
