Simpsons Duke 3 in Sapphire Manchurian, after much fighting off the brush devils telling myself I do not need to own this brush, I watched my will finally crumble away like a sandcastle up against the tide.
Love the Duke 3 in Manchurian, have it in Marble, and it is one of the "Go To" brushes in my collection, absolutely stellar brush in all ways and one I'd never be without.Quote:

Sounds interesting Mike, I don't think I have seen black Chrome on a razor.
It may look garish in which case I’ll rub it back off.
But if it works out,,, a neat option for discreet accents on a few old tangs..
I have a Zulu Hone in the mail but it sure takez a long time to get across that country. Still hasnt made it across the big pond after 2.5 weeks. Makes me feel alot better about getting things mailed from Shaun! Will post pics if it makes it here sometime this year.

As I've posted before, when I finish on my Zulu I give it a couple of sprays of Windex (Glass Cleaner) and finish up. It really makes for a nice slick surface and thus keeps me from using any real pressure since the blade just glides across.Quote:

There was a Tim Zowada custom razor on the bay awhile back along with a Neil Miller strop for around $1100 opening but no one bit. He relisted it again. It's a Damascus too if anyone is interested.
