Thanks for sharing and explaining! I was like: "If cuda unpinned and pinned like that I am a million miles away." Now you are back to human form ;)
I have never used Neatsfoot Oil. I guess I am going to buy it to try the same thing.

I am a human form and no where near perfect. That man died on a Cross over two thousand years ago.
With that said, IF I had unpinned the razor and IF I was successful saving the beehive washers, I should have been able to re-create the look of the original pinning.
It's not Quantum Physics, or Building the Space Shuttle. It's about Patience & Taking Your Time. Trust me, I know. It took me a long time to finally be able to unpin a razor and put it back together without messing up. :gaah:
While the price of the Neatsfoot Oil at Amazon is reasonable/especially if you get free shipping. You should be able to pick up the same thing locally for around the same price or lower. I'd suggest a Ranch and Home type store. Just be sure that it's 100% Neatsfoot Oil. :tu
This is the other stone I got when I bought my new escher stone. I really like the way this guy posted his listing [emoji6] 311765676228http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...6fcb59b956.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...29490307a5.jpg

I've ordered Lynn's DVD :)
And also mentally ordered lots of other stuff.
(using a DE razor at the moment)
I would not use this concoction on leather, this is mainly for cotton especially brown duck, heavy canvas type. The pine tar Like Stockholm and Bickmore is a water repellent and antiseptic and been used in marine application for centuries mainly in dipping ropes to make them waterproof.
