I think you have it -- I think this might actually be a French-made razor but it's like Sheffield makers putting "Hamburg Ring" on their blades. In German "Art" can mean "kind of" or "type" (like a kind of car, or a type of car) or method ("Bauart" can mean a kind of construction or a way of constructing things). So this might mean it's a Solingen-type razor or a razor made by Solingen methods.
Thank you, Gents!
It seems to be all-French!
I found the John Milner to be interesting.
The other example I have is a completely primitive wedge.
I need to see how long that name ran.

The 6/8 beaut is delivering today, my first. It'll be hard to have my wife wrap it so I can open it on Christmas. 12/22 will be my last shave day before Christmas so I've got a bit of growth to work with. Man, I can't wait!
Shipped today from SRD Naniwa Combination Stone 3000 & 8000 Grit. Didn't think you all needed a picture.
I am excited about my first strait razor is in the mail. It's the dovo that was in the b/s/t section. I also have a new strop called " the big daddy" ( don't google that unless you want to see stuff you will never unsee...trust me), but I am sooo excited right now. Looks like I am going to need a bigger wall to display my knives, and soon to be my strait razors.
Got this one coming from rodb in Minnesota. Will hopefully be here Friday.
