My favorite cheap shipping "coffin" for razors up to about 13/16. I have squeezed a few 7/8 razors in them. Cheap and fairly strong. I can roll a razor up in a zip lock with a dessicant pack, stuff it in one of these cases, and drop it in a padded envelope and be fairly certain that it will slip through the mail without being destroyed. The beneficiary can keep it or toss it. it's job is done once the customer takes out the precious.

Do I presume that you'll be doing some filing, sanding etc to polish it up a bit?

I had presumed that the face would be worked to a polish, I was wondering about if the horn was going to also get similar treatment. It looks like it's a bit rough and I believe that the top surface when an item is cast that it results in the surface being harder than the cast iron that's underneath. Again, just wondering.

Roy, It's a powder-coated horn and body, I'm only going to polish the bed.

Three Titans arrived while ago. So far, not too thrilled with them. The top one, the more expensive of the three doesn't look too bad but the bottom two are pretty badly ground. I will try to get a chance to hone them this weekend and see how they do.

Three pieces 1/2" acrylic, 18" long, for lapping my 12" balsa strops on, and one piece 1-1/2" thick, 12" x 3", for lapping film honing. I have been wanting a plate thick enough to keep my fingertips well clear of the path of the razor, and now I got one.
