Max's restoration work
I thought I would post a Max Sprecher restoration for our viewing pleasure on a Sunday afternoon. This is a sweet shaver : )
This is a vintage C. Lütters & Co., Solingen, Germany 15/16 steel razor
which has been customized with Faux Tortoise scales and
tapered with a faux ivory wedge. Nickel Silver and brass washers and Stainless Steel pins.

Love it! I have 3 Max restores myself, one in the same faux tortoise shell, which I'm not sure is a facsimile of tortoise shell but I love the look of it anyway! It's a perfect compliment to a vintage razor if you want an alternative to horn. Enjoy it!

Thanked: 1263I don't have a restore done by Max but do have a custom, so I can attest to his work. To put it plainly...perfection.

Beautiful! Max's work never fails to impress.
I really like the depth of color in those scale and the ivory wedge + silver hardware provide a great contrast. The blade looks immaculate.Piyush
Time to put some lemon. It's lime time.
