Nice ! I was told by a long time straight razor collector that Case Bros used a washer on the pivot pin and no washer with the pin at the wedge end. So those scales are probably the original set.

Heard that from the guy I got this Case Bros Springville, NY from. That particular style scale on yours was very popular for rescales. The rescales would have only been pinned at the top, as Tom mentioned. Note the wedge end of my Case Bros genuine tortoise. Pinned with no washer.Quote:
