If those are barber's notches, sure are odd ones.
I love em!
Absolutely beautiful. You have two and only need one. Send one to me PLEASE! Just kidding unless you are feeling generous.
Wake up, Bill.....yer dreaming again! :D
Oooh nice! I've never seen any like that before!
Let us know how they shave :)
Wow - never ceases to amaze me what people have lying around their homes...would be great to see some more pics of the tang stamp and the blades themselves...awesome score!
Holy cow Rocky ain't they purdy. Just staggering.
Bob
They're definitely different!
They are very nice, to say the least, and unusual. I think I vaguely recall seeing similar scales, maybe in a book on razors ........ dunno, but a real treat those are.
I have a feeling those may be very high quality pieces if I read the marking correctly Cardeilhac - Decorative Artists - Artist Biographies - Macklowe Gallery .

curses, foiled again.....just figured they had to be seen....pic came by a link from Thaeris in Gentleman's Set, Razor Clubs......truthfully, my set is very ungentlemanly as you may have guessed.
Those are amazing!! I have to hit more yard sales!!
You didn't fool me for one minute William for the simple reason, the razors in question are in great condition with perfect scales, your selections are usually busted, honed to the point of paint stirrers and have the scale material that comes from a 1950's radio chassis.
Har!!! :roflmao
Simply amazing...
Just one question. How did you pay?? Take a few minutes to gather up the cash? Or did you slap a $100 on the table faster than a blink? Gone in 60 seconds is my guess.
thats a score for 1, let alone a matching pair
very nice indeed
Oh My Gosh !!....simply stunning.
Amazing looking razors for sure, what a lucky score! Someone has fished out all my usual spots. Oh wait, that was me.
Sheesh, those are amazing razors...I thought I had good luck picking razors
I guess few don't read the whole thread before commenting.

Would that be here : Dream_Razor ?
No, I've not seen that website before. Marvelous stuff. I especially liked these ,,,,,,,,, Papillon
Rumor has it he was standing in dog poop when he paid. Other than that it was one lucky day in someone else's yard :<0)
So nice they should be kept in a hermetically sealed case in a safe with a guard standing by it.
I would not mind if a decent wet shaver used them that being said. I tend to think that "popular art" objects should be used
