I rescued this peculiar little Boker from the wild this morning.

I've seen one in person.

:hmmm:Wow, that is a thin blade.
3/8 like a DD Styledge. I heard barbers used them mostly for trimming around ears and neck. I have never used mine. I like the cave man look :<0)
I can see how this little guy would be good for behind/around the ears.
Maybe just under the nose would be a good place to try it too.
This is going to be a fun restore project : )
Just stay out of your nostrils with it. Tempting but.................. :<0)
It is tempting..
Ah ash aaah chooo! Que blood everywhere. :-(
Great shavers
That's a nice looking Henckels. Have you had a chance to use it? If so, how did that go?
I just finally honed it the other night but haven't used it yet. I put tape on my spines to keep from having spine wear & I had to cut the tape a lot more narrow because the blade isn't as wide. I'll see how it goes this next time I shave, I'll try it around my mustache area.
I remembered this thread & thought I would add to it.
I have been going through my straights to find a certain one but I can't seem to find it but it'll show up. I came across this one & had forgotten I had it but it is a Wade & Butcher most likely for trimming mustaches. The blade is 7/16" wide.
Is it extra hollow ground like the 4/8th bokers.
My torrey i thoght was 4/8, but its 3/8 extra hollowAttachment 202554

Quality ay it's finest
My dad taught us, brother, sister, and myself, how to handle fire arms before we were 10.
This is the one we all learned with, before we went to larger calibre's.
