D. Peres "Full Hollow Bengall"
Hi all, a very interesting find...
I was helping my grandparents move houses and they had put this aside for me... It had Full Hollow Bengall printed on the blade (not etched like the below sample). I thought perhaps that it was made on behalf of D. Peres but he seems to have used the name Bengall without any association to the Cadman boys...

It was made by D. Peres. Which is an interesting name for someone based in Solingen.
Has anyone seen or heard of this maker before? I know they also did pocket knives but timeframe is a bit harder to gauge... The scales are horn and pretty cracked and the toe of the blade has cracked off but neatly enough that the blade is saveable.
Another one I picked up today was also by the same manufacturer! I got it at an antique store for $10
This one had an eagle etched on the blade with the motto E Pluribus Unum (which is the motto the USA uses I'm fairly sure).
So I'm very curious about this one... Date/ Theme/ Intended market?

Any information would be great, I've never seen this maker before and found 2 in the one day...
