I thought I would leave the satin finish instead of polishing....
Interesting razor! Glad they got the spelling right on the scales!
Yea, the spelling on the box is off a touch...
I just received the Paco. It has a wonderful scent. Not to strong, but just right. I ordered it on Amazon and it came from a supplier in Israel. Go figure....
I love everything you didn't do. It still has a nice patina, and i bet shaves well!
Boy's, I think my first hone job was succesfull!!!
Shave test is coming...
Looks good to me! Congrats
Very nice clean up
Your edge looks like very even frosting and definitely looks the part
But only the test will tell the truth
Very nice score Dave!!!!
The shave test was magnificent. I'm very proud of the result! It is wonderfully satisfying to hone your own...
Nice job, It is satisfying to take one that no longer looks or works properly and put it back into operation. I know this may sound corny but what if the razors could talk and tell their story to you. Once again good job.
Thanks Steve. I have done much reading here on SRP, so it's knowledge gained here that has helped me along... Like this blade, it has a slight smile at the toe, so when I first started honing it, I noticed the toe was not contacting the Chosera. So the threads and vids here about the rolling x stroke helped me finish this blade, and have it sharp even out to the toe.
Your razor looks Very Nice! Good Job on the 'Satin' finish
Also Congratulations on your honing! :tu
It looks like my counsel may have been helpful. Counsel is one thing but execution is what matters!
Good Job! Keep at it!
