    I have a blade with the same etching/stamp. It seemed pretty deep when I bought it, I wonder exactly how it was applied.
    As you don't go overboard trying to clean up all the pitting, it should be okay.
    That is a good sized piece of steel.

    Those blade stamps/etches are NOT deep and will start to wash out quickly. Go easy if you want to save them.
