Thanked: 8New thiers from art of shaving store in Tampa Florida
So I'm in Tampa Florida for a week for work and I went to the international mall. Bam! An art of shaving store!
What a nice little shop. It was just a nice change of pace to be able to try out what I might buy and smell the shave creams and everything before buying. I live in Vermont where there's nothing like this. I always buy online and hope for the best. The manager/ owner was super helpful and really knew his stuff! I'd gladly buy from him again and overall it was a great experience. I got a new thiers issard and an art of shaving sandalwood shave cream.smells awesome btw! Soon as I get a chance I'll upload a couple pics.

Thanked: 8I was super close to buying one of their silver tip brushes but I just felt like at that price point, I could get a better brush like a Simpson or saville row....idk. They had a beautiful boxwood with nice engraving on it with again a round point. I wanted to get it but at close to 350 I felt like I could get it elsewhere at a better price. I'm happy with the purchase and again Jeff the shop operator was super friendly and helpful. Which I think made such an impression on me because I'm so used to people looking at me and just being intimidated or outright disrespectful, due to all the tattoos and the fact that I'm 6 ft 260 pounds. So overall it was refreshing and quite nice. If you're on this forum and reading this jeff thanks man I appreciate the help today!

I'm from Tampa, and I discovered that TAOS store too a few years ago. They were really nice and friendly in that store. I've been to a few others and have walked out angry due to poor customer service and attitude. The sandalwood shave soap does smell fantastic.

Thanked: 8Yeah, I know about those places, I made this post mainly due to the fact that I was able to be in an actual store getting for once. I'm actually planning to buy one of the 3 inch strops from srd.they're really nice, and very well priced
