W&B Rattler or what?

Got this a little bit ago because I like shoulderless grinds and this one is different looking but don't exactly know what it is or what to call it! It's a pretty heavy grind, a near wedge.
Got it on the cheap because someone used some really rough sandpaper to scuff it up but should clean up OK. The rust spots might not come out but it has a clean bevel. Took it to the 1k for a quick bevel set and it looks good.

So, what's the verdict on the grind type?

I would put the spine shape as a quill back and the blade shape as a 1/2 hollow shoulder less. A rattler it more or less a flat ground blade and like a frame back except it is all one piece not two pieces together.

I would call it an arris spine. Do you have a reference for quill back?

I was looking for it when I posted but I could not find it. I can't even remember the name of the author, a lot of hand drawn references in his book. I had a link to an electronic copy. Emphasis is on had.

A quill spine is round. This spine appears to be flat on top with angular sides.

Thanks to Sharptonn who put this up on one of my threads back in November of last year. The link doesn't seem to work. Maybe he will chime in and help us out.

Yes, the spine is flat and very wide and the sides have a slight taper. It's kind of an oddball which is why I got it! Kind of a weird one!
