Great razors, Henckels 66!
I have one other Henckel 66 and it's a 6/8 so i hope this is also a 6/8. I do like the shoulder less blade. for me the're easier to hone.

I think you should go at it with some 0000 steel wool and WD-40 and then the steel wool with polish and then just polish. You will be amazed as to how fast it cleans up a blade.
Henckels is a really old company and I think the were the leader and not the follower ;-)
The back and spine need a bit more oomph. It is a good one though. I love solingens with a hint of smile.
They're are up there. My personal solingen #1 is tuckmar with dorko a close 2 probably ERN and then henckels after that. Boker or bohler round out the top 5.Quote:

This one arrived today and it's 11/16 which is good because i will hone out about 1/32 or less for a very small crack. It was not viable in the photos and i doubt if the seller noticed.
