And I don't normally shave with safety razors, but its in excellent condition, and was $3 . so it followed me home too.

Of course they'll both need a good cleaning though.

Great finds ! Color me jealous !!
Yes - that W&B is a fantastic score...any chance of a pic of the grind? The one's I have like that are very nicely hollow ground...reminds me of the Filarmonica's 14's English grandfather...
Nice score brother.
Holy coincidence batman!
Look what I found today at the Antiques store today!

Oh yeah, that's the same grind as mine, you'll absolutely love that one.
First few times I shaved with mine after I got my hands on a Fili #14, I had to laugh, that W&B seems to be the standard by which many more modern razors, like the Fili and many others aspire to...the grind on that would have pre-dated them by 80-100 years - just perfection, and AFAIK, the steel provides a far nicer shave than even the vintage razors of the mid-20th century.
If you remember, a post of your first shave with that one would be great to read, would enjoy hearing your feedback on it....
Thanks...
Hopefully a mirror shave of these two...."AWSOME" !!!

Have both of those razors myself, but my frame back doesn't have that splendid etching, lost to the ages....sigh.
DennisBarbershop managed to get his hands on a W&B frameback that was easily 7/8, if not bigger, never seen one like it before....it's somewhere posted here.
Is the FBU same grind as the Celebrated...figure they're both the same blade, just stamped differently....nice;)
Yes their the same grind.
Yeah, my frameback is just shy of 7/8ths. What do you expect... Its used ! [emoji3]
Dennis' frameback isn't the one with the etching on the blade face like our's...he seems to have found another W&B frame back, haven't seen one since...found the thread...check this beauty out:
Here's the thread:
