Flea Market Haul
Flea Market finds today. Very nice, I think.
A big old oilstone, in a wooden box. 8" x 2". I believe this is an old arkie. We shall see. It is almost completely flat. Less than .010" light seen between a straight edge and the top in the middle of the hone. Gonna soak 'er in Simple Green for a couple/three days and see what I have. Lovely stone, regardless.
Boker shorty. Somebody did a decent job repairing. I'll finish it off and make it better, polish her up and put a good set of the proper sized scales on.
:Lastly, MMOC. Been looking for one of these for a bit. Works perfect. Sanitize, polish and go!

Edit: Stone is a Norton MB-8 Medium grit India oilstone. Still a nice score for $3. :) Should work well for knives and edge repair on razors, too.

You will love the Boker shave, they give a clean, buttery smooth shave, never met one I didn't like......Enjoy!
Very nice find!

Nice haul! Too bad the Boker had to be made a shorty. I have a full size one like that myself and it shaves fantastic.

Thanks.
Yeah, would have loved to have found it completely intact, but I'll make something out of it, and enjoy it for what it is.

Excellent Score for $3!!!!!!! A 3 pin Boker.................
Even though it is a shorty.

Thanks, Gentlemen.
And here is the Boker alongside her full sized brethren. Went through 3k on synthetic stones, then move to a coticule. I think she's got a really sweet edge on 'er. We'll find out this evening. Thanks for looking!
