Nice find mate.
Ive had a few vintage razors both from Sheffield and Soligen that have been measured from hone line to edge, I dont believe there is any rhyme or reason for it, just the way some manufactures did it.

No way it can be a Gold Dollar. I've never seen the fancy etching on the tang between the numbers & stabilizer on a Gold Dollar. I have two straights called a Blue Diamond. One is made by Grah & Plumacher, Solingen-Weyer, Germany. The other is a S.R. Droescher made in Germany. They wouldn't have had Droescher's name on it if it wasn't a quality razor. I believe this Grah is the same person or it may be a brother or something, like it was in Sheffield.
Here's the Grah & Plumacher:

I believe Bob's razor is a quality razor & I bet it shaves like a dream.
I have a Blue Diamond and it is an amazing shave, and I also believe that Grah is the same as the RuGra razor maker. I regret selling my Rugra. they do shave nice!
Just bought a RUGRA with no numbers on the shank, Rudolph Grah Solingen-Weyer on the back of the shank. No "Germany" mark etc. Any idea of age?
