K-Bar 177
Found this on fleabay and figured why not. I have many Ka-Bar knives and love the quality.
This is in fairly good shape, the scales are a bit warped, but the blade itself has no nicks or much pitting.
Got this one more to just have, the best I can find is it was made between 1900-20

No info for you but looks like she should clean up really well. Nice find

Thanks!!
There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on these razors. Some general info but that's it.
The scales are a bit warped but I'm going to try to straighten them over steam from a pot of water slowly.
I'll post how that goes

Well if they are anything like a KaBar knife it's utilitarian and no frills but a solid performer. Great find , if you don't shave with it hang it up with those knives my friend, every good soldiers returned should have had a KaBar razor. Tc

Looks like a spike.
Sent from a galaxy far far away...

I will shave with it at least once, it's going to need to be sharpened after I clean it up.But I've got stones (thanks Addison) and have a pretty good handle on honing.
I'll keep this thread updated as I progress

Union Cutlery, same who made the Kabar military knives. It looks like a Spike because it IS like a spike, which were also made by Union Cutlery.
These are 'modern grind' wedges. There also is a hollow-ground KaBar razor.
I have one of those.
They started out in Union City Georgia before moving to Olean.
Some good history from Martin beginning with post 78 in this thread; http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ow-conn-3.html
