Default Mismatched 7 day set Engstrom & Mappin & Webb in Tiffany & Co. New York Case

An eBay find, 5 Joh. Engstrom and 2 Mappin & Webb to form a cobbled together 7 day set.
Seeking 2 like Engstrom to complete the late 19th Century Early 20th Century set

I guess anyone would rather have a full set of the same maker, but Mappin & Webb ain't too shabby either. Great score !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Absolutely! Either or would have been fine. Seems that Tiffany & Co. NY were the dealers for Engstrom in 1890's til early 1900's so I will side with that research. But I do agree...... I almost had a Mappin & Webb wedding ring for my second marriage....went with Tiffany instead and after the marriage failed, the Tiffany platinum band was sold to a California jeweler to restore and re-sell to another Groom. Hopefully they polished off the bad vibes.
