New acquisition.
Hi it's been awhile. Here is my latest pick up. A 17/16 Wade and Butcher with a slight smile. It cleaned up nice a little more polishing but not much more. The pivot hole is worn and there is a slight Crack in the scales by the pivot. I hate to change the scales but I might if I sell it. If I keep it I can live with it.

That's a sweet Wade & Butcher, Vinny! Good to see you picking up such a beauty. I hope it's a "keeper", these are hard to come by :tu

Change the scales! I know for a fact its a fine blade! =P

Nice one. If the pivot remains tight the old scales will do. If it's loose at least change the cracked side. IMHO.

Thanks I appreciate it. Hard to come by at a fair price. Now to put an edge on it and shave.

Good thing about old horn. One of the few scale materials which can be repaired with CA and epoxy successfully.
A crack is not such a big deal with old horn, IMO.
Nice razor!

I agree it can be repaired. If I unpin it to repair the pivot hole i will take care of the crack. Thanks.
