Thanked: 1083My first frameback
Gentlemen
My first frameback and first Wostie.
Appears in NOS condition, no bevel and no hone wear on the brass frameback spine.
It has an interesting faux Damascus etching on front and back and lovely hand writing script on the spine.
I have done very little in the way of cleaning her up, but as you can see very little is needed. She took an easy edge and shaves like a dream, I was literally giggling how nice it was.
No "England" on the tang indicates pre 1890. "Washington Works" on the tang indicates after 1848 but I wouldn't be able give an exact date.
