Razor picked up for cheap just because.

Got this one a couple days ago and just found the pics on my phone then realised i hadnt posted them yet.

It only has "Linden" on the tang. Nothing else. About a 1/4 hollow, 6/8 barber knotch. A touch of rust but not too bad at all. Pins are very loose and the front scale is cracked at the pivot pin so not sure if i can save the scales or not. Will try. I have another yellow razor but dont remember what it is right now.

Tried to do a little reserch and the only thing i can come up with on this name is a japanese razor. It looks more like a standard early 1900's sheffield or germany made razor. Cost me 16 bucks and that encluding the shipping so i feel good about it. Nothing special for sure but another for the collection.

So, anyone seen one of these or have a clue on who made it or where it came from?

Kuhlewind & Linden. Solingen in 1922.

Is it possible?

Iy only has Linden on the blade. Centered, so i dont think anything is missing from the name. But the shape and look does fit the solingen, 1920s. I guess its possible. Ill look into that name a bit more.

There were about 800 different makers in Solingen at a time. Some began associated for workplace hiring costs reasons, then separated to fly alone when financially at ease. Others began on their own and had to find an association when times went darker.
