Ulrik just sent me a few photos of my newly finished custom razor, I used the razor configuration to put this design together, I'm extremely pleased with the finished razor.
- Bellied full hollow 7/8
- Lightning strike carbon fibre scales
- Nickel silver pins and washers
- Nickel silver wedge
- Splash etched finished tang and spine
Very nice Jamie, Ulriks grinding is perfect. Im sure it will provide a wonderful shave.
Thanks Mark, one of the reasons I chose another Korrat is because of those 14 blanks, I really like those bellied hollow grinds and how they shave, plus the grind fit and finish is perfection.Quote:

Korrats on my hit list too, first is an Alis Blade, I find Herr & Razors quite fascinating too. Too many great razor makers and not enough money!

I will say, you'll enjoy a HERR's, I have 2and they are nice well made razors
Korrat's are some of my favorites, don't own any, but I love their aesthetics. They break away from the traditional, but stop short of being too far "out there".

Excellent choices Jamie. Very refreshing straight razor design to look at and I am sure will be a champion shaver. The grind on the steel is my favorite grind.

The price on those customs are very reasonable, and considering the built-a-razor option in customization it's pretty damn neat too. If I can convince myself I want an 8/8, I may use their sheffield style chart.
