Unknown punch to be identified

Can anyone identify this punch?
The razor is definitely English, around 1850. The only correspondence I found with the triple crown is Charles Cammell, Cyclops Steel Works, but I want to be sure

If German it could be Overhoff & Did as they used 3 crowns. Just don't know if they were side by side or in pattern on razor.

The problem with Charles Cammell is you are missing word cyclops. What makes you think it is English?

The shape (spanish point, smile blade) and grinding (near wedge / quarter hollow) are clearly English from the mid-800s. Absolutely nothing to do with the Germans. Fine india steel and warranted are typically English punches from the same period.
The Cyclops punch may have been omitted to leave space for "fine india steel warranted" (more attractive for the buyers' target)
The problem is knowing if other British cutlers have used the triple crown.

Perhaps there was something on the blade prior to regrinding?

I've seen that three crown mark numerous times, and I know Neil Miller tried to track it down, but I don't recall it ever being convincingly identified.

My best guess is it's a German razor masquerading as an English razor. That was a thing that happened.

In the past I owned a couple of German razors (a Dubbers & a Sanssouci) and currently own a German razor (Pranafa) that on the back of the tang read "Finest Sheffield Steel Forged and Hollow Ground In Germany".....all fine shavers!

I know this does not help clear up where your razor came from, just some info to add to the confusion, sometimes info on razors can be very hard to find if not impossible in some cases. I can't find any info on the Pranafa, I have a Bing Solingen I can't find any info on and there was very little info on the Dubbers.

Hope you discover where it was made but IMO it does look mid 1800's English.........
