I initially misread your title as 11/16 instead of 1 1/16 and got confused by the pics.
That’s a beast.
It looks like it should clean up quite nicely.
Sweet mother of god...
I restored a Talley Ho for a member here, that would make a beautiful compliment to yours.

That one has an awesome etch. I have a tillotson with a similarly deep etch.

Awesome blade. Has it been shortened?
No, it's the full 3'. I have seen this etch before but not the star with it. Just makes for a crowded face.
Wonderful find if you just got it. Thats a monster for sure. Will be looking for it in a SOTD pic.
Ooofff!

That is a beauty!
Is that Tillotson tang stamp upside down?
Yes, don't ask me why
Ol' mate probably had a long day in the factory.
Does that make it worth more like a misprinted stamp?
Not sure really. Nice examples of that maker don't grow on trees as it is.
Just saw this one at Griffiths Shaving Goods website.

I had a really rotted out one of those ages ago
Damn boy! That's a big ol' mo joker. I can't wait to see it cleaned up and back in it's glory
That is sweet !
I need to get it in some new scales. Fortunately, it doesn't need much else.
