The antique market again...
Went back to the antique stores and found a woman with a bunch of blades! All of them are restoration projects but there were some nice wedges and some beautiful scales. I was amazed at the number of them she had. I purchased a W&B spike point that looks like a 6/8 maybe a 5/8, partially hollow and has "Our Club" etched in the blade. It has some hone wear but, I had never seen a W&B like it so I picked it up. I also bought a John Clarke and Son 7/8 round point full hollow and etched "full hollow grind" on the blade, with nice three pin scales (black celluloid). I left an etched Wolstenholm wedge (IXL) that looked like it would need to have the etching sanded off in order to bring it back. Sorry for the bad photos, I will take some of the blades I bought and post them here soon. She doesn't live in GA so I got a card to call and see when she is coming back this way...
