First Restore KAMA
First thanks to OldBlades for the opportunity. I know he may have thought it was a lost cause but I think I have proved him wrong.
Here is the original thread with pics. I will just post the finished pics here and in the other thread.

It came a long way, and I think you did a very nice job on a blade that most people considered lost. Congratz!
-
man you took on a tough one... does she take an edge?
-
I'm disappointed in the finished product. I imagined that it'll look like a swiss cheese. You lost an important hole near the edge and then didn't get the ones in the bulk of the blade to go through!
Oh well, at least I won't be sorry I can't enter the drawing :)
They take a very sharp edge when in good condition, we'll have to see the reports on this one.
-
Trust me the blade will take an edge. I am incapable of giving it one, just as k GSsix. It already cut me once just by tapping the edge so I know it can be honed.
Thanks guys.

Congrats on a fine job. I think you did a fantastic job, knowing what it looked like to start with.
And I like being proved right, it was not a lost cause.:fim:
Thanks for sharring your hard work.

I like that razor a lot and I think you did a good job with the cleaning. Some of the pits are too deep to be completely removed IMO. Let us know how it shaves! :tu

Its not mine. I cleaned it for Oldblades so he could do a give away I think. It has been so long since I read the OP.
