BBW/Coti and a?
Picked up these today, the coti is getting a bit thin in places but it's backed on to a BBW, so still plenty of use if you got it out the box. That will be sold (shoot me a PM if you want it).
What's the other one though? The pictures aren't great, I'll get some better ones if they're required.

Actually, those pictures are absolutely useless lol.

They are a little hazy! What about a Charnley Forest? Looks like there may be some red veining, which was my only clue. Did they come from within the UK?
-
If it is an olive green with figure here and there and maybe some black specks it could be a CF. Sometimes the photos don't show the color accurately.
-
These pictures are better, a CF would be pretty good right?

the coti/bbw is 1 5/8*8" and the other one tapers but about 1.5*9"
It's tough by the way, harder than the coti.
-
It would be good, indeed, depending on what you paid. It does look as though it could be. It'll be clearer once you've lapped it.
-
A task I'm not particularly looking forward to, if I'm honest.
-
You should! I would; it's very rewarding to find out and old hone's true colours (pun intended)! There is happiness in restoring it to former glory, attaining a fresh immaculate surface and be the first to hone on it in years or even decades.
And if poetic sentiments can't convince you, prozaic counting may: lapped and unambiguously named you could sell it for more.
-
O, I will do it, I've started. It's just a bit boring you know?
I would say it's a bluey green.
The coti is going, I think I will keep this one for now.
-
The adhortation was directed not so much at the action, but at the attitude towards it. ;)
Bluey green could well be CF (here a few shades). The streaks of red remain, or were they grime?
Looking forward to the pictures!

The red remains. Looking at those pictures, it certainly looks like a CF.
Good stuff, they make a good polisher no?
