My new baby

Well after snagging my Filarmonica 14 Doble Temple off ebay, I've been impatiently waiting for it to arrive from Spain. Finally came in today so I thought I'd put up a pic. Can't wait to use her, but she must go off to get honed :(.
I really don't like the scales, so I plan on poking around a while trying to figure out what custom ones I want to put on her.
I also love how tiny it makes my Henckels razor look.

Congrats that is an awesome blade!! It looks like the "New Baby" is going to eat your Henkells for dinner!:)

What a beauuuutiful blade! Echt, you're making my RAD flare up!

Very nice snag! I like the way the original scales look, but a set of "evening wear" will look really nice too!

Here's my new baby. I'm drooling. About 13/16s.

very nice :). Mine's not much larger at 7/8ths. Still gynormous compared to the 9/16ths Henckels I have been shaving with for the past 5 months. The scales are just cheap to me. Sure I'll still keep them, but I would prefer something like what Aquanin has beautifully made such as -

Man those are all beautiful blades!!!:tu

I only had to touch mine up on an escher - maybe 125 laps wet. The factory edge was actually really good. And it was an awesome shave. Just a wonderful blade - great balance between thin grind and solid steel. Just amazing. The classicshaving.com monster fily is good but not even in the same class as this NOS one. I might have a new favorite razor.

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for my little #10.
