Nice little early Christmas present from my folks...
They have a bit of hone ware as it looks like they have been well used.
Just given one a little bit of rubbing with some 1500 wet and dry, taken the dullness off a bit.

Nice, very nice. :)
Merry Christmas! Would you talk to Santa for me? :)
Now that's a gift! Very nice set.
Funny thing is they are from the same antiques shop that I bought my first straight razor from, which was also a Kropp but that one was ground in Hamburg and is slightly wider and not as hollow a grind.
I only happened see them because I was visiting my folks and had to go to the chemist for a prescription for my son so just decided to pay a visit for a nosey.
Apparently they belonged to an RAF officer who had recently passed away, they hadn't been in the shop long and were priced at £60 (the owner did think about putting them in a specialised auction, glad he didn't).
The scales are pretty spotless, the blades although worn are pretty clean and just need a bit of buffing as it looks like they were in good use (they were all pretty sharp). The box has a bit of cloth wear as you see but that's all.
when I have a bit of time I'll clean them all up as best I can and get them all shave ready.
I've already briefed my parents to find me anything to do with straight razors and the names to look out for :D
I've passed Santa the message but the beardy git hasn't a clue and will no doubt send everyone a complementary MachIII instead and a tin of foam.
:w;)
