First Blood
So this is my very first acquisition of what I believe will be a long suffering of RAD. It is a $30 "Eslay" J.R. Torrey CO barber notch with etching and "fancy" scales. The scales are true and straight made of plastic with only a hinge pin. The wedge is glued between scales. It is not in any way shave ready but the edge has a very slight smile and two spots of surface rust. The grind looks off center to me but hey, my eyes are different than yours. I would like to do a restoration on this and have it be my "first blood". Enjoy.

That's a beautiful Torrey, and those are sweet shavers too.

I really like those scales.

+1 on Torreys being nice shavers! That is a fine looking razor with attractive scales. Just cries out for a good honing, then to join the rotation!
