Here is something I picked up over the weekend. No idea what it is. but here is a couple of pictures, Says Gillette on the bottom and has Brit Pat 694093 on the bottom of the inside of the head. Diamond bottom plate, solid knob except for 2 small drainage holes. Notched center
Paper weight!

Carrie forgot to mention how this one opens. Fron the closed position twist the bottom 1/4 turn to unlock and push the bottom up to open, twist 1/4 turn to lock. To close unlock w/ 1/4 twist of the bottom and pull, 1/4 twist to lock. We searched everywhere and couldn't find any info on it. If it's a paperweight (LOL) it's functional and probably worth twice it's weight in gold! :)

This site might be useful with Gillettes
No date code, just Gillette and a Brit Patent number. From what Carrie found out from chating with some people and Don from SRD, it may be a prototype or only on production for a very short period. It's in the post now for Don to take a closer look. We are all excited over this find.
The British Gillettes did not have a date code. I used to collect them and the USA cousins and I've never seen one like that. It is worth big bucks IMO.
