Now then, that is a very nice looking razor. Congratulations.
oh Yeah!!! and it has a French point too. Very nice looking razor, and the Swedish razors all shave so well, once honed. Pretty hard steel, IMO, and hold an edge. Congratulations and hope it performs as well as it looks.
I feel so stupid. That's TWO big swedes I've missed now. Third time's a charm?
Muchas Congracias Clas!

It arrived today and turned out better than I hoped!
Seems completely unused, what looked like bakelite scales was in fact flawless ivory! Measures quite exactly 7/8", compare with my other fat Helje...
Only need some very light autosol-polishing (maas-equivalent) and a very light honing, is close to shave ready from the box!! Yes, it came with the original box, in good shape!!
Will post better pix in Swedish Steel when she's polished up and ready to shave!!
It's been a goood day!!!
:aargh::boohoo::beer2:
That is probably the best vintage score I've seen posted in months... what a find! Congratulations!
Excellent! I thought the first photos looked like ivory. Great score.
Sweet Jesus what a nice specimen, still wait'n for my big Berg :)
Congratulations!
:mexwave:
looks like the 33 is more hollow ground compared to the unnumbered one?
Oh man...that is MADE OF WANT.
Bassguy, no the grind is viritually the same, maybe it's the difference in polish that makes the grind look different? BTW, both razors has a "full bellied hollow ground" aka "Full double ground".
Interesting. The 33 looks like it has two shoulders, so that means they used different wheels on the blank one or a different grinding process, but achieved the same result.
Ok, pic of the grinds.
To me, they look the same, but you are right, Bassguy, the fatso only has one shoulder and the 33 has two....
Dig it Bro!
OK, I'm clickin the bay right n...
