Amazing that with just a little tlc these old tools will last for a few lifetimes and with an upgrade by one of the master craftsmen we are fortunate to have here it just gets better and better!
One of my favorite things about that Wade & Butcher is it just fits my hand perfectly. Of all my razors that is the most comfortable to shave with. :)
What's the scale material? I have a similar WB that needs scales.
that razor has the nicest thumb notch I have seen, and Max's work is great as allways.
That is one nice looking razor!!! Nice job on the pictures too!! I like the razor stand, where did you find that? By any chance did you find that on ebay. I remember that thumb notch, I think I bid on that one. Congratulations nice score!!
Max is Mr. Shine. I too am lucky enough to have a blade that he did, and in the same way than newbies to shaving/honing need a razor honed by da honemeister, anyone who wants to restore needs a piece of art that has been graced by the buffmeister.
Enjoy that baby, LZ. Another beauty, Max.
