Would 'ya help me plan my shave den?
I'm in the process of finishing my basement. Bare walls at the moment. I've decided to move the existing roughed in plumbing to put in a bit of a larger bathroom (about 2x the size of a typical bathroom) and will install a steam shower.

The vanity is represented by a placeholder at the moment - I have an area about 74" wide and 28" depth, although I could go a bit deeper if I wanted to.
I will probably only do one sink as this won't be a shared bathroom - it'll be the bathroom in the basement, near the man cave. If I'm sneaky, I can turn it into an elaborate shave den before the better half figures it out. I think only one sink will give me lots of counterspace for "stuff".
The "stuff" is what I need help with. I've thought about putting some custom cabinets on part of the vanity - for storage of creams, soaps, etc. I could put a cabinet/vanity in some of that space, yet I've got a pretty decent sized linen closet in the room too.
I've given thought to building some shelves or ledges in the steam shower where I could put some supplies with the idea that I could mount some sort of steam-proof mirror in the shower and shave in the shower after taking a shower. Although I'm not convinced that's the right way to go. Just a thought.
The finish in this bathroom will be totally "man cave" - dark tones, tan tile work, and maybe cherry wood finish on the cabinets. Haven't decided yet - but I like the "old club" idea.
Would appreciate any comments, suggestions, or ideas you might have on how to make it an appropriate shave den.
