What a find man. My wife and I were downtown Toronto the other day looking through a number of antique stores and I found nothing. How are you so lucky. You are the reason I couldn't find anything. Hehehe.
Dwayne,
You are one lucky guy! Between the DD haul in Alabama and this one you should be set for life. Me? I managed to find one overpriced Sheffield wedge that the vendor refused to budge on the price at a nearby antique store. Maybe one day I'll get lucky like you:)
Nice haul!
Greg
Wowza. What a haul. I've been meaning to take a trip to some of the antique stores in Toronto, but it looks like I won't find anything anytime soon. Hopefully most, if not all, of those will shape up to be excellent shavers.
Sorry I wasn't in Toronto but somewhere in NY heh heh heh!!;)
My word, that is one fine haul, right there!
The one beneath the text "The last one in the leather roll" is stunning. Love that design.
Congrats!!
Nice score...! :)
Hope you enjoy 'em!
Great Score!
I was just wondering, how much did you pay? I promise not to tell the Antique Store Owner!:)
By the way, if you open your eyes after you died and you see an eternity of razors that are impossible to hone, your not it Heaven!
You made out like a BANDIT! Congrats on some SWEET finds. Time to fire up the tumbler, eh?
I'm scared to depin the ones with scales that are intact
Very nice now you have work to do. gl
What a fantastic haul! I need to get out of Toronto......I think we've bled this city dry.
damm the last one in the leather pouch looks midieval man thats a sweet razor congrats
That is definately a fine SCORE! Congrats, you've got some real beauties there.
The second to last razor is that a pyramid on the tang? the one above the Imperial on first post,if so than its most likely a Gottlieb & Hammesfahr-that's there trademark
Great haul! That catch would represent a livetime of resto work at the pace I'm going.
Anyone have a guess to which kind of hone he purchased?
The larger one is a Franz Swaty 3 line the other small one is some kind of carbodium with lots of chips and gouges
Wow I really like that exagerated barbers notch! Grats...wish there were more decent antique shops around me
