My second razor.

This was found in a junk shop. It was £2.
I noticed it amongst some old box cameras.
I think its got the original box, but its very tatty and torn at one end.
one of the scales is stamped with '31509'
There is some rust as the picture shows.
but it says 'Wade & Butcher
Sheffield England'
and has an arrow and an 'iron cross'

again any info surrounding the history of this beautiful razor would be fantastic.
and whether it could be made shave able?

A cleanup and honing is all it seems to need, and you'll be shaving with it for sure.

I'm pretty sure that razor can be made shaveable.

As for the history, contact Manah by PM. He has a vast knowledge of razor history.

As for a restoration. That's totally and completely up to you. If you want to go all the way to a high shine or mirror, you can. If you want to rub it with metal polish and call it a day....you can to that too.
