I got this torrey a few weeks ago, and decided against a restore...just gonna clean it up and use it...well clean it up a bit then send it to be honed. Then use it.

Torrey's are great shavers. Nice find.
Thanks, everyone says that, and once this one is honed I will finally get to find out. I am excited to get it mailed out and returned...but the 4th is gonna slow down the mail for a day.
Looks to be in good shape.
This is my one and only Torrey. I love it. It is absolutely a great razor. Congratulations on the find, I am sure you will enjoy it very much.

skullring, that is a good looking razor!
I have one torrey and is probably my best shaver. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I just don't wanna wait to have it honed. I have never done a smiling blade, and don't wanna learn on this one.
I think this is wise, if you like that blade. A junker is better to learn on. I just got my first 2 Torreys. Neither in collectable condition, but pleasing to me. I need to tweak the edge on the first one, and am about to hone up the second one tonight. 'Hope you just LOVE the shaves. I've been curious about the Torreys for about 8 months. It'll be nice to taste of the Worcester blades.
