My opinion (take it for what it's worth..very little..lol)
The razor looks like it was made by an individual. By that I mean, not a company ie: Wade & Butcher, Wostenholm, ect..
To me it looks like a one time deal (much like a custom maker today).
The tang looks like it may have been forged (hammer and anvil) and the grind is different then most I've seen.
The shape itself is pretty straight forward, all straight lines or very little curve.
No doubt it's a interesting piece

Very cool!
It does look to be a "one off" custom that someone made in their shop. To be honest, I don't think it is that old. I wonder about the case though, made for a comb or eyeglasses?

Thanked: 69one thing you fellas seem to be forgetting...... is that people come in sizes...... and something like that could have been a custom job for someone of abnormally large proportions...... think of people like andre the giant..... in his hand a 16oz beer can looked like a salt shaker....
a razor that big would have fit a hand like his.....

I think it's pretty obvious that razor belongs to Sasquatch.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
