My First Acquisition - Crown and Sword

Was at a car boot sale yesterday when I came across this little item

Opening up showed this, A nice "Crown & Sword" 13/16

Think that the emblem on the (plastic) case is supposed to be a lucky 4-leaf clover, but the paint has worn off.

Only downside is a couple of very small notches (less than 1mm in size) in the blade, but they should hopefully be fairly easy to get rid of. (oh, and the scales are a little loose)

Those small chips should hone out pretty easily. I think the Crown and Sword was made by ERN which is a very good German maker.

Good to hear that I didn't pick a duff one then as a starter!!

Nice pick up. I like the case - it would like nice housing the Clover Brand that I am restoring next.
