Homemade Scuttle and Stand/Dish setup
Not exactly 100% homemade... because their not handmade by me, but anyways:
I bought this napkin holder from TJ Max for 3 Dollars, so as to modify it - the brush didn't fit as I suspected....

....so I took my dremel tool to it, then smoothed it out. Then folded napkin over itself several times to wrap around the metal and protect it from when I used the plyers to bend them and squeez them closer together without damaging the anodized black look. I just need to ask my fiance for her dark black finger nail polish so I can coat the tips with that. Voila, the brush fits nicely :)
That dish you see with two handles, that will be my drip dish - TJ Max, clearance(1 dollar). I suspect it originally came with something else which was why it was cheap, but that was all I needed.

Yet again, two more things from TJ Max, did allot of fitting things together, found many possibilities, found a thread dispenser tin that fit the ceramic heat-retaining cup (2 bucks) perfectly, but went for a nicer looking 2-handled porcelain chain-bracelet cup (10 bucks) to fit the ceramic cup instead. The ceramic cup and the drip dish I believe were originally both for baking.
So now it's a scuttle. The heated water will go into the porcelain cup and keep the ceramic cup warm/hot..plus can be covered securely. It is elevated by about an inch form the the porcelain cup base, and has good area between the two for water to fill up into

I hope this inspires someone to go out and mix/match.
Save yourself 80 bucks on a nice set up :)
