Went wandering around a local flea market and came home with a couple razors. One was a Joseph Elliot, but this one has intrigued. The only thing I can guess is that it was made by an old Canadian retailer, Eatons.Attachment 111763Attachment 111764Attachment 111765

Here's a couple shots of the etching, sorry about the lighting. And as you can see, there is a nice broken scale that I did while trying to clean it up. :aargh: but I guess that gives me a reason to get some new scales. :D

Nice razor! Cattaraugus cutlery made a Cobalt, so did Case, and boker made a 104 red injun, im possitive Eaton's did not make that razor.
But whoever made this razor im sure you will be pleased Enjoy!
If you type Eaton in the search box at top right, you'll find a number of interesting posts on "Eaton" razors and I think I saw one on the family. Nice razor, wish I had one. Wife's maiden name is Eaton and from upstate NY. Enjoy it!!

Looks nice. Such a shame about the scales, they're sweet.
After a fair bit of googling, I found a couple of references that sound very similar to this razor. It seems that the razor is Sheffield steel, and from roughly around 1910, not sure how long before or after that time it was made.
