Again, the usual disclaimers - but I believe the next applicable trading agreement required "made in" after 1914.
So it would be, for instance "Solingen" then "Solingen Germany" (after 1891) and the "Solingen, Made in Germany" after 1914 +. Manah's Blog is a great source of information on the subject...

I'm pretty familiar with most of Wostenholme's knives. I've got several of their older pocket knives and even an "end of days" knife that must have been about the time they went under back in the 70's. It is a piece of junk compared to their earlier products. It's really sad.
If I see one I've got a question about, I'll send you a pic and see if shows in the book.
