Which really makes me sad, because I want to use it, but it will break my heart to "lessen" it with a new honing. Although, you never can tell, maybe the factory edge can get away with a stropping!

A great find for sure! By honing it your are not lessening it, you are giving it life, like it was meant to be a razor to shave not sit on a shelf to be looked at. Enjoy!
Ok, so now I have a Ben Hur, a Spartacus, and a Conqueror. Are there any others? Like a Herculese? or an El Cid? :mace:
